[Getting a text from Takame is definitely out of the ordinary. But hey, maybe he's finally been some sort of influence on the other man and he's learned how to share the goss! ]
For you? Bet, I've always got the time. What's up?
[no instead of goss he's going to take 50 years to share August's post on the app because he's still from an old time setting.]
This ENKI which once taught courses on magic seems vital to Undertown and it has come under threat. It could be a boon for Kaisou as a whole and several others, myself among them, would like to see it thrive.
However, they may be in need of financial backing should the plan to keep it afloat bear fruit. I realize this is a huge endeavor and I'll not blame you for taking offense at my request. But I promised that I would gauge your interest and I am a man of my word.
[He's gone away to make a cup of actual tea and is flipping through a magazine as he waits for Old Man Takame to get his links together. When it finally appears, he starts reading.
Hmmmmm.]
Well, people having to suddenly deal with weird magic they don't understand sure is a THING here. Can't see THAT slowing down anytime soon.
[Given he woke up a few days ago with magic fucking hair he's still trying to figure out how to control, he knows that for a solid fact. Still, this isn't the normal area he'd invest in- it's usually the arts or LGTBQ+ charities. Putting money into education is a new one.
His parents would probably HATE it. Which makes it all the more tempting, honestly.]
Okay. So have you guys got a business plan or anything I can look at? I'm definitely interested.
The idea seems to have been sprung on them rather abruptly by the Professor -- the blue and fuzzy one. Contact August Villareal for more detail on the business front.
This isn't my area of expertise and there is little I can offer them, but I wish to contribute however I can to this cause.
Awww, I like that fuzzy little dude! Okay, got it, hit up the permanently exhausted guy who deals with the prophecies.
Yeah, that sounds like you. And hey, you've got plenty to offer! I'd bet you anything there's a class you could probably teach there. It's like...community college, right? More about teaching important stuff than stuffy gatekeeping with qualifications and whatever.
If you insist. Outside of my ability in combat I have limited talent. I suppose I've taught the basics of sword combat in the past and some of the basics of hand to hand as well. Would they have a use for that?

See? I'm sure you could run a self-defence class. That uses hand to hand, right? I'd say that's useful! Give yourself some credit!
